ACRP Report Looks At GA Airport Safety, Security
By Sean Broderick | September 29, 2007
This report isn’t new (it was released six weeks ago, in fact), but I wanted to get it on the blog anyway. It’s an ACRP effort entitled “General Aviation Safety and Security Practices.” From the report’s summary:
The objective of this synthesis report is to identify current practices in safety management and security operations at general aviation airports and FBOs. Through the use of a survey of individual airports and FBOs, this report identified current practices and highlights unique, low-cost ideas that may be in use at one airport, but transferable to others.
Here’s a direct link to the 52-page .pdf version of the report; this link takes you to the report’s home page on TRB.org.
